A professionally trained independent celebrant and the heart behind Iris & Sun Ceremonies. I create ceremonies rooted in warmth and authenticity - a space for people to feel truly seen and celebrated.
I'm passionate about honouring all of life's meaningful moments, bringing heartfelt storytelling, calm energy and a wee bit of whimsy to everything I do.

I don't believe ceremony should be reserved for traditional milestones.
Graduations, birthdays, retirement, friendship, recovery, reunions, new beginnings, a beloved pet or simply a chapter of life that deserves to be acknowledged.

It's all in the details
I take time to really get to know you, listen closely and notice the wee details that make your story yours. From the words I choose to the way the ceremony flows, everything is created with thought and care.
On the day, I bring my warmth and calm energy, while taking care of the practical bits behind the scenes. My role is to confidently hold the ceremony space so you can be fully present with the people you love.
Every Iris & Sun ceremony includes:
- Bespoke writing, created especially for the people at the heart of it
- An easy going, fun, collaborative planning experience
- Space for your beliefs, values, culture and traditions - or none at all
- Gentle guidance throughout, so you always know what happens next
- Thoughtful coordination with your venue and suppliers
- One ceremony per day, giving your moment my full attention
- Respect for your privacy. Your story is never content unless you actively choose to share it.

Scotland rooted. Celebrating worldwide!
I'm based in Renfrewshire, on the west coast of Scotland, but my heart is scattered across the world. I grew up in Dumfries and Galloway and have lived in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Surrey, Spain and the USA. Travel, people and culture have shaped who I am and the way I approach my celebrancy.
For me, a place matters because of the memories it holds, the feeling it creates and the people gathering there.
